Kelly Minkin Enters WSOP Circuit Bicycle Casino $1,675 Main Event Final Day as Chip Leader

Female poker pro Kelly Minkin will lead the pack of 14 hopefuls into the final day of the WSOP Circuit Bicycle Casino Main Event. The player will enter Day 3 action with 2.405 million and as the only survivor to have passed the 2 million chip mark.
Minkin was the chip leader at the start of Day 2, after progressing from Day 1A with the largest chip stack. Over the course of play, the player dropped several spots in the leaderboard. However, she regained momentum towards the end of the day to eventually emerge as the chip leader once again.
Minkin is well ahead of the second and the third spots on the leaderboard as well as of everyone else left in contention. Brendan Baksh will enter final day of play second in chips with 1.925 million. Tony Phan bagged and tagged the third largest stack of 1.205 million last night.
It can be said that Minkin has quite some experience in WSOP and WSOP Circuit events. She has cashed in 11 WSOP tournaments and in 7 WSOP Circuit ones over the course of his career, collecting more than $325,000 in the process. A notable accomplishment was her deep run in the 2015 WSOP Main Event. The player finished 29th in the tournament, good for $211,821. What is more, she was the last female player to survive so deep into the 2015 edition of the tournament.
Minkin is now contending for her first WSOP Circuit title and gold ring.
